Suzuki GB cuts up to £1,000 from motorcycle prices in UK realignment
Suzuki GB has reduced the on-the-road prices of several models by up to £1,000, including the V-Strom 800DE and GSX-S1000.
Suzuki GB has confirmed a realignment of on-the-road (OTR) prices across its motorcycle range, with reductions of up to £1,000 on selected models.
The off-road-focused V-Strom 800DE, which features a 21” front wheel, switchable ABS, off-road traction control, quickshifter and selectable power modes, has dropped by £1,000 to £9,999. Its road-oriented counterpart, the V-Strom 800RE, now carries a price tag of £9,499 following a £200 reduction.
Also reduced by £1,000 is the GSX-S1000, now priced at £10,999. The model is powered by Suzuki’s 1000cc inline four-cylinder engine housed in a twin-spar aluminium frame, with a GSX-R1000-derived swingarm, traction control modes, bi-directional quickshifter and a TFT display. The Katana has been lowered by £200, bringing its price to £12,499.
From 1st October, the GSX-S1000GT+ and GSX-S1000GX+ – both equipped with 36-litre panniers as standard – will fall by £1,000 and £900 respectively, to £12,999 and £14,999. These models will also replace the standard GT and GX in Suzuki’s UK line-up.
Jonathan Martin, head of motorcycles at Suzuki GB, said: “This pricing realignment is designed to make our commitment to affordability and value-packed products clearer and more accessible. By shifting our focus away from short-term promotional sales campaigns the costs to the consumer are clearer and more transparent, making it easier for buyers to experience Suzuki products.”
